Terms of Service

These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your use of the PetGuardian daily check-in service operated by Pet Guardian Club LLC ("PetGuardian", "we", "us", or "our"). By creating an account or using the service you agree to these Terms.

The service

PetGuardian sends you a daily check-in to confirm you are okay. If you do not respond, we notify the trusted Advocate you have chosen so they can check on you. The service is a wellness check-in and is not an emergency, medical, or monitoring service. In a medical emergency, always call 911.

Accounts

You agree to provide accurate information, including a working phone number and a valid Advocate contact, and to keep this information up to date. You are responsible for activity on your account.

Text messaging program

By providing your mobile number and checking the consent box at signup, you agree to receive recurring text messages from PetGuardian related to your daily check-in and your account. This is the PetGuardian Daily Check-In messaging program.

• Message types: daily check-in messages and account or safety notifications. We do not send marketing or promotional texts.
• Message frequency: approximately one message per day, plus occasional account notifications.
• Cost: message and data rates may apply, depending on your mobile plan and carrier.
• Opt out: reply STOP at any time to stop receiving texts. You can also change your contact method to email or phone call in your profile.
• Help: reply HELP for help, or contact us at hello@petguardian.club.
• Carriers: mobile carriers are not liable for delayed or undelivered messages.

Consent to receive texts is captured at signup and can be withdrawn at any time. See our Privacy Policy for how we handle your information, including the commitment that opt-in consent is never shared with third parties.

Billing

Paid plans are billed through our payment processor on the cycle shown at checkout. You can cancel at any time from your profile, and cancellation takes effect at the end of the current billing period.

Acceptable use

You agree to use the service only for its intended purpose and not to misuse, disrupt, or attempt to gain unauthorized access to the service.

Disclaimers and limitation of liability

The service is provided on an "as is" basis. While we work to deliver every check-in reliably, message delivery depends on mobile carriers and other providers and cannot be guaranteed. To the fullest extent permitted by law, PetGuardian is not liable for indirect or consequential damages arising from the use of, or inability to use, the service.

Changes to these Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. We will post the updated version here and change the date above. Continued use of the service means you accept the updated Terms.
